SDLending Co's Performance Tracking System

SDLendingCo was experiencing significant growth in their mortgage broker business. As a result of this growth, it was becoming increasingly more time-consuming to keep tabs on the company's performance metrics. The company used Microsoft Excel to crunch numbers that determined performance bonuses, referral statistics, and loan types transacted. Due to the complex calculations required and the changing parameters, it was a daunting task for employees to continue performing in Excel. Further, there was a hand-written white-board calendar system that kept track of deadlines associated with processing the loans. Every month an employee needed to re-draw the calendar and reposition all dates.

Sage Tree Solutions analyzed SDLendingCo’s situation to determine the best possible solution for the client. Previous systems were time intensive and the rewriting the calendar was prone to error.

Sage Tree then designed a web application which managed the performance data of SDLendingCo. The system allowed employees to collaboratively track loans in SDLendingCo's pipeline and instantly generate reports. A calendar was also integrated into the web application, saving the resources previously required to maintain the white-board calendar.

Today, SDLendingCo’s employees can view their calendar in a web browser as well as track all metrics associated with their various mortgages in process. This new solution freed up a significant block of employee time for expanding the business.
