This year's SANDcamp was a great success. Over three hundred attendees came to SANDcamp this year to listen and participate in the sessions this year, with people coming from as far as the East Coast to attend. With the help of volunteers, Christoph Weber led the installfest to help newbies install Drupal on their computers, enabling them to get the most out of the event.

Several members of our team were among the presenters this year: Rich Yumul presented “Development with your Debugger”, Doug Hoffman presented “Drupal Bootcamp: Going from a Blank Page to a Live Site in 45 minutes”, Christoph Weber presented “Drupal Koolaid- Get Intoxicated!”, Burt Lo presented “Emotional Fitness for Techies: Algorithms for a Healthy Life” and Zakiya Khabir presented “Theming D7 with Omega/Delta.”

Developing with your Debugger- Don't let the name 'debugger' limit you.  It's not just a tool for tracking down and squishing bugs.  Once setup, it can be a very powerful tool to use in your development cycle, helping you quickly identify the gap between what your code is actually doing and what you want it to do.  With the level of insight your debugger gives you, it can also help you reach that 'ninja' expertise level faster.

Drupal Koolaid: Get Intoxicated! - In one short hour learn what all the buzz is about, and what Drupal can do for you and your organization. We will cover Drupal concepts and jargon, popular modules, themes, common pitfalls, and more. There is also room for questions at the end. You will leave with a more comprehensive understanding of Drupal.

Emotional Fitness for Techies: Algorithms for a Healthy Life - This presentation will include a quick overview for developing emotional intelligence and proficiency. More importantly, we'll learn about the benefits of a well-developed emotional life, and for those intellectuals among us, show how to leverage the strength of our minds toward emotional fitness. The business applications of this information are limitless. Emotions are just another skill to be developed, and this presentation will break it down to the basics. Everyone will walk away with a powerful, easy-to-use method for clearer communication and more personal authenticity.

Theming D7 with Omega/Delta - The Drupal world is buzzing about the Omega theme for Drupal 7. This grid-based, mobile-first, responsive theme does will do the heavy lifting leaving themers and site builders free to go about the business of creating beautiful sites for any device. We'll cover: creating a subtheme through the UI with Omega Tools (Its easy!), omega goodies (responsive layout, optional stylesheets, debugging tools, etc), Omega's unique layout logic (sections, zones, regions) challenges of using Omega, using Delta to save multiple layouts in code
